REVIEWS

The Next Radiohead
author: Stephen Wells
"The Royal Bloodline" is an astonishing album. It's best described as an experimental mood piece. Melodic, acoustic guitars paired with an ammusingly innovative take on hip hop, mopey at times yet thoroughly captivating. All the tracks on the album are very different from one another so don't expect a one note. Highlights include the quirky rap track "The Devil Sleeps" (From the pages of 'Slick Rick'), "To My Annabel Lee" (Romantic yet haunting), the overly complex "The Neural Code," and finally the well deserved single "The Hours". Highly recommended to fans of Gorillaz "Demon Days" and Thom Yorke's "The Eraser". Simontronic shares a general musical aesthetic with those two bands, yet with a very distinctive an timeless sound of their own. Buy this record, you won't be dissapointed!

My 2006 Pick!
author: Michael Tyler
Every song is absolutely brilliant! I haven't heard a record with this much range...ever. Simontronic's style bares a striking resemblance to that of master rockers Radiohead, with tracks like "The Hours" and the beautiful "To my Annabel Lee" it's no wonder i haven't been able to put it down. Get this record you won't regret it.
