Album Notes

This album was concieved, written and recorded from late 2003 to early 2009. To me it is a collection of musical short stories about being in your twenties.

It features contributions from M.J. Brown (LiQuid Metamorphosis, Umbriel Rising), Danny Short (Big Arm and solo) and also includes a song co-penned by the brilliant Aussie singer-songwriter Steven Davies.

Influences for this album include: Sarah Records, the Beatles, the Kinks, Harvey Pekar, 'Ghost World' by Daniel Clowes, childhood memories, late nights, alcohol, happiness and depression.

A Touch of Summer

Imagine walking on the beach, stopping to pick up a shell here and there. And imagine that each shell sings a different song. That's what Conchology is, a collection of beautiful shells, but one that you can take home and enjoy forever. Listen to the song of the seas, relax and relish each one time and again. Simon Waldram makes all this possible!
