Album Notes

Sincerely Paul were originally signed to Blonde Vinyl Records; an independent record label located in Southern California. Their debut album, "Grieve" was released in 1991 to much critical acclaim for both its music and controversial lyrics. Grieve: "The 2 Disc Definitive Edition" was recently remastered and digitally enhanced in 2009. It includes the entire band's catalog of songs, including 11 unreleased tracks. People describe Sincerely Paul as music built upon an ethereal backdrop: Sometimes dark, always deep, provoking thought and emotion. In 2009, original Sincerely Paul members James Preston and Mike Baker decided to re-form their second band SLIDE (SlideMusicGroup.com), but NOT before re-issuing their ground breaking classic album “Grieve” to a new generation of listeners. “The common theme on this album is healing, denial, and confronting falsities about oneself; it is both a musical and lyrical journey that transports the listener to a place of uncomfortable rejoicing” so says lead vocalist James Preston (who also happens to be a licensed clinical Psychotherapist). Today critics have hailed Grieve as “an exquisitely realized and brilliant release with brutal lyrics and music that is not only timeless, but more relevant today than when it was when it was first released” (Cut and Dry Internet Talent Radio) . Be on the lookout for the band’s next chapter- SLIDE- www.SlideMusicGroup.com
