Síocháin (pronounced Shee'-a-kawn, meaning peace in Gaelic) is Celtic Rock band based out of Indianapolis, IN. Although the name may mean peace, the band's entertaining music will do more to disturb the peace! Síocháin blends Celtic instrumentation (bagpipes, fiddle, bodhrah) with the high energy of rock to produce some wonderfully powerful music. Síocháin performs music from a wide range of Irish and Scottish groups, along with their own renditions of some of Ireland & Scotlands finest songs. The band has performed with groups such as The Fenians and Gaelic Storm; they've performed at Irish festivals in the Midwest and appeared on television.
