ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Siphon is the following 4 humans from San Diego:

John - vox
Nate - guitar, vox
Gregg - bass
Rob - drums

Siphon began in late 2001, with a humorous email sent out by Nate entitled "We're getting the band back together". It started out as a fun jam, but it evolved into a serious band pretty quickly.

In late 2002, Siphon had a lineup change, when the original singer and bassist left the band. This worked out for the best, though, since it enabled us to bring John and Gregg into the mix. Everything suddenly fell into place: Nate's hooky songwriting and Rob's innovative drumming were complemented by Gregg's solid bass and John's hefty pipes and stage presence.

Since then, things have been progressing at seemingly breakneck speed. We bust our asses for our fans, and it seems like you get what we're trying to do. We currenly have hundreds of people on our mailing list, but still take time to hang out and talk with everyone that we meet. We put everything we have into every show, and dig the vibe you give back.

All of the members of Siphon are committed to being the bestest darn band ever. Seriously, though, we take pride in our music and performance and hope it shows. If you're really curious about the VH-1 details, well basically we play hard and party harder. What else is new?
