Album Notes

Born Patrick FitzGerald in London England, he kept to the beat in his head by continually banging my head against the crib.

Lived and absorbed the music and humanity of 6 countries on 3 continents including England USA Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, and Papua New Guinea.

Listened to Dad's Coltrane, Ella Fitzgerald and Supremes records.

First picked up a guitar @ 16 with some Aussie buddies in New Guinea, and after leaning a few basic chords and some Beatles tunes he punked out to the simple raw angry power of the Sex Pistols, The Clash, and 999.

Skill increased to Rush and Van Halen and finally learned classical guitar playing Bach and Segovia.

Began songwriting and public performance in 2000 and Six7 came into being alongside Kimya Dawson and Mouldy Peaches at the home of antifolk The SideWalk Cafe in Greenwich Village, NYC.

Mix the power of Rock, beats and bass of Funk, and Hip Hop, some angry Punk and moshing Hardcore(sometimes in the same song), and you get Six7.

Electrifyed, mesmerized audiences exclaim "warior poet"
"the real deal", "disgusting", f'n awesome" a 7 foot Zappa", blowing my mind" and even "I want to suck your cock"

If the devil is 6 then God is 7, 6+7=13, This is Six7... and thats not all.

Recorded on location at Dead Horse Barn Portland, Oregon, and at Icehole recording studios, New York. Engineered and produced by Six7, Alan and Mark Kanning. Guitars and Vocals, Six(I'm the white)7. Drums Mark Kanning. Additional vocals, Anne FitzGerald. Logo provided by Last Up Larry.
