Pure musical violence. In a good way.

On Vindication, Six Foot Deathtrap strikes the elusive balance between being brutally heavy while also being listenable. This is something the American metal scene has been sorely missing since the demise of Pantera.
The songwriting on Vindication is top notch, as the band knows how to break up the intensity of the pounding riffs with the odd guitar harmony, shredding solo, or clean passage. Vocalist Zach Tanous showcases excellent versatility, his delivery ranging from throat-shredding screams to haunting clean melodic singing.
In short, if you like Pantera, Slayer, or Machine Head, Six Foot Deathtrap is highly recommended.
