So much to be said.

There is so much I could say about this album, and will say, in some longer review, somewhere.
I am really glad I bought it, though. It explains clearer why people compare her to Joni Mitchell, and why everyone seems so eager to drown in the voice of Sooj. Weightless makes me tear up, Mary Mary and Drum make me think, Baba Yaga makes me listen, and several others make me sit back and wonder.

Tangles has already been on a seven hour trip from Johannesburg SA to mid-Botswana: has been re- and re-listened to and appreciated, lyrics inspected and understood with all their shades. SJ's voice is arrestingly pleasing company: she's good!
