ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Silly and reverent at the same time, Mischief was literally recorded across the country with friends and colleagues in various tour stops. The delay caused by Tucker's brief health issues combined with her demanding tour schedule gave Mischief a longer creative process than any of her previous albums. The time and intensity of the circumstances, however, became a powerful tool, motivating Tucker to embrace the silly more than ever before, while allowing the music to carry the depth of the emotions and experiences that had occurred since her preceding release in 2008. With all these factors combined, Mischief is her best body of work to date.

An Absolute Necessity for all fans of S.J. Tucker!
"Mischief" is an absolute must for anyone seeking to get to know more about S.J. Tucker. This album is a testament to the versatility and pure awesomeness that is S.J. "Mischief" can appeal to fans across all lines and musical tastes as it brings to light the true power of a little pixie from Arkansas, while simultaneously accomplishing to create its namesake: mischief. There isn't one overall musical theme to "Mischief", instead it seeks to showcase S.J.'s vast musical talents across multiple platforms. This album has everything: strong A Capella tracks, acoustic and coffee house jams, spiritualism exploration, a tale of a deadly salad, love, loss, and the truth about ninjas. This album is chock full of both the serious and the silly, and has at least one track that everyone can identify to and enjoy. Whether you're a new fan of S.J.'s, or a long time one, Mischief is a must-have.

Mischief
"blessings" was the best. I was hoping for more along that line. Guess I can write Tucker off my list.
