Album Notes

"East Coast kool kids Skeeter could plug that overlong gap left by Husker Du and early 80's era Elvis Costello / Joe Jackson ... combining meaty chords with succulent hooks that weave a curious yet intoxicating fabric ... that nibbles away under the skin to bask you beneath glowing skies and the tender chill of introspective solitude." -- Losing Today, UK

Welcome to the happy world of Skeeter, East coast power-pop phenoms. We write songs about all the normal stuff (eg: car crashes, prison, comas, voodoo dolls, stalkers, etc.) that occurs in our everyday, boring lives.

Weaned on an unbalanced diet of Ramones, Steely Dan, Elvis Costello, Husker Du, underground punk, 70's rock, and Rick Springfield(?), Skeeter has something for everyone, disguised as sweet, harmless pop.

Note: Do not attempt to wipe the ear-to-ear grin from your face upon your first Skeeter listening. But, we do discourage you from driving your car off a cliff after figuring out what the songs are really about.
