This is the latest release from The Skellingtons, one of North Carolinas longest running , original indy bands.
Having evolved from a straight ahead roots rock band in the early 90's to an eclectic ensemble that explores musical realms from rock, alt-country blues, to experimental folk-rock. Influenced by artists as diverse as Elvis Costello, to the Everly Brothers, Led Zeppelin, Johnny Cash etc..
"Dyslextacy" is the cullmination of a year of experimentation, and recording in a home enviroment that has resulted in a critically acclaimed collection of very relaxed, yet emotionally intense music that takes the listener to many levels of personal interpretation. The songs allow you to come inside and find your own meaning.
Greensboro's GoTriad magazine describes "Dyslextacy" as "layered and beautiful, like driving down a rural back road when the sky turns purple and fuschia at sunset. The Skellingtons show why they're considered the flag bearers of the triad's original music scene" Check it out for yourself!
