The highs and lows of life.

Sherlak Dead and The Salt River Band have compiled an eighteen plus one hidden track CD. The songs look at the highs and lows of life from the perspective of a 50-year-old with a smoky voice. The first five grouping of songs are from 2005 and have a country-rock flavor and feature the best production. Tracks six through sixteen are from 1984 and echo textures and tones from that decade. Sherlak's singing was smoother back then. 'Jersey Shore' from this period is a spirited song about the fun Skerlak had growing up in New Jersey during the 60's. The last few songs date back to 1961. They are a bit raw but capture the sprit of a sixteen year old who is making music for the first time. A Waste Of Oxygen is a mostly up-tempo rock CD that pokes fun at life and aging!
