Album Notes

"REMNANTS RESOLVED" is my newest release of songs, originally recorded in 1984 and 1961, since "A WASTE OF OXYGEN" from August 2005. This new EP contains four tunes from 1984 with two "LIVE" recordings from 1961 and my 2005 self eulogy "THE FUNERAL".

Track one. "WHAT YOU'VE DONE" was the first song that I wrote in 1984. I was remembering my first true love and how she dumped me. How are you Dottie Kennedy? You broke my heart in the 9th grade.

The next three tracks are from my bar days in the 70s. I heard, saw and did a lot of weird stuff back then. MS. RIGHT" is about how tough it was to actually meet someone for a long-term relationship. "HUSTLE BAR" is exactly that, the good old meat market days where it seemed like everyone got lucky. In "PRETTIEST BROWN EYES", I had developed some good material that worked well.

The next two songs "KEEP WALKIN" and "I REMEMBER" were done live in 1961 with my first band. The songs were recorded on a single track reel to reel in a cellar in New Brunswick, NJ.

Damn, I miss those days.
