Born and raised in whats considered home to some of the most renowned names in hip hop, MC and producer Skila always felt he had a lot to prove. Started rhyming at the age of 18 with influences such as Kool G rap, Rakim, Organized Konfusion and Tupac, Skila has applied his ever evolving talent to help promote what hip hop seems to lack these days, a step up. With a unique sound and lyrics that have been describes as "intelligence with an razor edge", this dark poet shares a perspective that few have the skill or courage to put out into the world. Skila's debut album, Audionarcotics provides a glimpse into the life of a starving artist, and the frustrations of dealing his daily struggles. The features on Audionarcotics include, Sinnagi, Creature, Gab Gacha, Soul, Soi, Angelica, as well as production by Fred Ones, Mr.Data, Reno, Alkatraz, and of course Skila himself.
