Hogwaller Woman

by Skip Haga

Journey deep into the 60’s & 70’s when on one station FM radio played a mixture of rock ‘n roll, country rock and blues influenced original songs. Sprinkle in hot keyboard action with New Orleans spice, some nice vocals and you’re left with a bowl full of stew to savor.

Album Notes
Twelve self-penned songs bring a wide variety of styles from the classic rock “Hogwaller Woman” & “Roadblock”, the country rock “I Love The Way You Walk” & “Take My Hand” and the New Orleans influenced “I Love My Baby” & swampy “Voodoo Woman”. There’s even an old time country ballad “Whisper Of Love” and a fifty’s style novelty song “Little Rolly Poley Rock ’n Rolly”. The album is cultivated with a crop of keyboard solos proving Skip’s ability to adapt to all styles. Skip resides in Charlottesville, Virginia, a city known to be overflowing with an abundance of first class musicians of all genres.
