Wow, I was sitting here facebooking with my folks and my boy Mike Phillips (saxophone) was saying he's in Detroit with Will Downing and I shot him a note to look up this brotha I went to school with named Benjamin "Skip" Pruitt at UAPB and googled and came up on this. Skip was known as an awesome sax player even before getting to UAPB by us folks in Flint, MI. UAPB's band was awesome because of him and another poster on here Michael Mack who played next to me as 1st trombone players under the direction of Mr. Burrus. Kept up with them even after tranferring to Grambling State.
