The band has been regularly performing around the Midwest and frequently in Chicago area clubs such as The Park West, Famous Dave\'s, Beale Street Blues Cafe, Frankie\'s Blue Room, Penny Road Pub, The Brat Stop, Porter\'s Oyster Bar, Cubby Bear North, The Landmark Inn, Flatlanders, Burning Ambitions, Austin\'s, McMahon\'s, Blarney\'s Island, Dell Rhea\'s Chicken Basket, Crawdaddy Bayou and many more.

Don\'t forget their stints with Jump\'n the Saddle (#1 International hit with \"the Curly Shuffle\"), Mickey & the Memories, Night Flight, RPM, Orange Hunters, Traffic Jam, Midnight and Street Talk.

Skip Towne & The Greyhounds capture audiences with their own top notch brand of \"The Blues with a Feeling\" ! The XXX dynamic, large-size vocals of Peter Quinn are a must to be heard. He sings the classics, the ballads, and ALL the blues with such hard pushing drive and emotion that crowds always fall for Peter\'s special delivery! The power- packed \"BIG HOUSE HORNS\" consists of veteran saxman, Tom \"Shoes\" Trinka on soprano, alto, tenor and bari, joined by Peter Quinn on harmonica. These Big House Boys excel at solo and section work. Everyone will hear a lifetime of devotion to the Blues in the Guitar and Piano styles of Rick \"The Prof\" Gourley, and Dave Roberts. Radiant chords and tasty solos are their specialty. From Steam-Train Rhythms to Chicago Shuffle Beats to soulful slow Blues numbers, the pairing of Steve Beals\' bass and Jim Murray\'s drums make the music a total groove with a unified pounding heartbeat.

REVIEWS

Very respectable and tasteful album...the band was exceptionally solid.
author: Bruce Iglauer, President, Alligator Records
All in all, a very respectable and tasteful album...the playing was very good and feeling full, the band was exceptionally solid, and there was a level of professionalism that I rarely hear from a local band I don't know...this was still way better than 90% of the material I receive and there was a lot here for you to be proud of...I think you've got a good band and have done a good job presenting yourselves. Thanks for sharing the good music. Bruce Iglauer, President, Alligator Records & Artist Management, Inc. April 2001
