Shelly Knight and The Livin' Dead are a Classic Rock band out of Austin Texas. Shelly has been a long-time FM radio D.J. and started signing years ago in The South Austin Gospel where she developed her own special style of combining gospel and classic rock. This is her first solo release, Shelly had previously released an album with her bass player and song writing partner Eric Leikam, which received rave reviews and worldwide radio air play. In this CD Shelly explores her rock and roll roots, harkening back to the days of Led Zepplin, Janis Joplin, and Bad Company.
