Album Notes

Shane Horizon is Berklee educated and has played through most of Central and Western Canada. Hailing from Calgary, now calls Toronto "home". He kickstarted the group in 2001 and has been rocking ever since.

Spike Love "Drums chose me...beating on anything that did not beat me back has been an ongoing form of self-entertainment, since...music is art." Anyhow, Alex and Shane noticed me as i was passed out between chanel and lu lu lemon in downtown Toronto some time ago, they woke me up and took me to breakfast at one of their girlfriends lofts and somewhere over coffee they realized (beating on the tables items) that yes i was indeed a drummer! "it is hard to make it as a photographer, i am trying the music thing again." The band is FUN and when it is FUN for me (us) then it will certainly be fun for you, yeah i love it! I am Vegetarian. I love being...-s, d, & r&r...-S.

Alex Spencer has been the band's producer since before he was the bass player. He has been experimenting with music and computers for more than 15 years. Alex was found living across the courtyard from Shane in a loft neighborhood in the West End of Toronto. They recorded a song together in Alex's Hockeybag Studios, their talents combined like a synchromesh geartrain, and the rest is history.

This CD was recorded in Hockeybag Studios over a series of Tuesday afternoons.
