Slang is an exceptional Band from an Exceptional country, and it's the listening that makes sceptics into believers, and believers into fans. It was beyond my own belief that great Music could come from Eastern Europe, or Bulgaria to be precise. I was so sold, that I backed three of their Projects.
Slang Started in 1996/97 with a concept of making a more rythmic, out-front, modern sound, moving away from the hard/glamour rock that dominated the local scene at the time. Their first cd "Blue" was started and finished in late 2000, propelling them to the very top of Bulgaria's Rock scene. "Every day" Was finally finished in 2004. The English versions, which are available here, were rewritten to fit the music and mood of each song.
I waited Four years for this Cd. Six Years After hearing Slang For the first Time. I could not believe that a band could sound so good, live, in Eastern Europe.
These Guys are Great, So is their music.
