This album self titlted "Slant" is a new look at what is to come from Slant. You can hear and feel all the hard work and effort put into this release. The band played a hands on role through out the entire process, to make sure that it is truely a piece of there own work. You will find the songs more intense and captivating then any they have realeased so far. Pick up a copy and tell us what you think, or better yet once you have a copy go to there show and let them know what you think.

Killer Album
This album was killer. From the kick-ass opening riff of "Release" to the the stripped-down, smoldering build of the last track "One Step at a Time", you are in for one kickass ride. Slant uses a medley of sounds and frequencies--during the instrumental"Strike the Match" you seem to be transported from a gritty city street to the amazon rain forest all within 45 seconds. Other stand out tracks include "Better Without You" "Price to Pay", "Through it All", and the super haunting ballad "Beautiful Angel." The guitars and drums are at the top of their game, and the tracks are all sung with a raw, savage emotionality that sounds as if the singer is living every single moment that is being sung about. Fantastic second album from Slant, two VERY big thumbs up.
