About Sherry

Sherry has been involved in music for most of her life, having written her first song when she was three (OK, so Chocolate Milk is not a Top 100 song!)

She remembers when she was fourteen and was playing her guitar in her bedroom, writing songs, when she suddenly knew she should be writing music for God. The thing is, this was before she was even a Christian! Fast forward 20 years, and she began doing just that: Writing music and singing in a band called Crimson Blue.

Crimson Blue's main focus was outreach to the lost people in the prison system. After six years in ministry with Prisoners For Christ in Woodinville, WA, the members of Crimson Blue dissolved the band.

It was through this ministry that Sherry met Pam Cramer in 2003 and their singing partnership began. They began their CD project in 2004, using mostly material they wrote and performed in prison ministry. Shortly after recording their vocals, Pam was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and went home to be with the Lord on April 22, 2006. Pam's beautiful voice and tender heart will be missed.

Sherry's goal is to worship the Lord Jesus Christ through music, and using music as a powerful medium to bringing the Gospel to an unbelieving world. Sherry believes that God is at work in our world, bringing hope and salvation to countless men and women.

Sherry earned a degree in music from Washington State University, where she studied oboe performance, voice, and flute. It was there where she met her husband, Kurt, who is a PK (Pastor’s Kid) and through Kurt she rekindled her relationship with Jesus Christ in 1995. She lives in Bellevue, WA with Kurt and their sons David and Jack.

Sherry's church home is in Bellevue, WA, where she serves on the worship team.
