Album Notes

Searchlight Ensemble is a 7-member instrumental/vocal Christmas group founded by Christopher First and Michael Papatonis. Their music is a collection of contemporary Christmas instrumental and vocal pieces. The concerts include selections from their CD along with narration and audience participation. The ensemble is made up of professional studio and orchestral musicians who perform everything from rock instrumentals to acoustic/classical compositions. Some of the pieces even have a Celtic flavor. Searchlight also gives the audience numerous opportunities to participate and sing their favorite Christmas carols.

I used to listen to The Carol of the Bells on my radio station 90.1 WFMJ and I just loved it.  Kept saying I was going to buy it, but it took me two years to do it.  What was I waiting for.  I love their updated arrangements.  Heard them on "Soup DeJour", a Christmas program.  Thanks again
