With The Path, the sweet, dusty country twang is more melancholic; the PBR-fueled guitar crunch is more feral; and beneath it all, pop hooks are fortified with 12 more months' worth of heartache, hell-raising and hangovers. This path is worth following.

Album Notes

December 7, 2009– Lancaster, PA-based Americana quintet SLIMFIT announces the release of its highly anticipated second full-length album.

SLIMFIT announced their presence on the national scene in 2008 with the release of their debut full-length, "Make It Worse" an album with one foot in sweaty barroom country rock, another foot in devil-may-care punk rock and a third foot in
whatever it is that gives them such an affinity for piss beer, mustaches, bad ’80s rock and kittens

WXPN, the nationally recognized tastemaker for Triple-A radio, offered free downloads of select SLIMFITtracks in
advance of the December 26 release. WXPN debuted “Damp Powder,” the first single fromThe Path, in July. The song
also received spins during Helen Leicht’s “XPN Local” broadcast, and was offered as an exclusive free download on the
station's blog at xpn.orgon its release date.

Two videos about the making of this release are available for viewing on YouTube. The first is a live performance of the
new LP's title track, “The Path”; the other is an interview profiling the new album.

"Just had a chance to listen to the full album. Excellent stuff. Really really good.....
Great songs, production. The whole package!!!!!” –WXPN Program Director, Bruce Warren

"SLIMFITwill have a major problem [trying] to make their next album better than this one." –CountryStartpage

With The Path, SLIMFITillustrate in no uncertain terms that they're at the creative zenith of their career. The sweet, dusty
country twang is more melancholic; the PBR-fueled guitar crunch is more feral; and beneath it all, the pop hooks that form
the true skeleton of SLIMFIT's songs are stronger than ever, fortified with 12 more months' worth of heartache, hell-raising
and hangovers. This is one path worth following.
