This new release for 2007 reflects the many hundreds of performances we've played at fairs, festivals, cowboy gatherings, and other venues. What we've learned is that people are hungry for the heritage that this music represents. None want it to disappear. From our point of view, the youngsters need learn it.
Cowboy music is part of the work, and the dream of the American West. Perhaps the most rewarding aspect of what we do is returning to a fair or festival and hearing children singing along on the classics, where only adults had sung the year before. Another great joy is meeting and working with western musicians and poets who inspire us with their effots and ideas. This recording has a lot of pleasant surprises to listen to.
From there rendition of Ghost Riders in the Sky to the
snappy lyrics penned by Cimarron Sue.

I love the ubeat comedy songs as well as the old west classics!

This CD has some great old classic cowboy songs that will take you back to times-gone-by, but it also has some great upbeat comedy songs sung by Cimarron Sue, that will bring a smile to your face. I especially like Come Riding with Me (and the yodeling) but the songs are all great!
