JERMAINE COLE A.K.A SLINKY SHARP WAS BORN IN KINGSTON,JAMAICA AND WAS RAISED IN HANOVER,JAMAICA.HE HAS BEEN SINGING SINCE THE AGE OF SEVEN,DOING CONCERTS AT HIS SCHOOL AND OTHER COMMUNITY EVENTS.HE MOVE TO THE U.S IN 1989,WERE HE WENT TO SCHOOL IN BROOKLYN,NEW YORK.HIS FIRST SINGLE WAS RELEASED IN 1992,TITLED"WOMAN DONT WORRY" ONE THE STRONG FENCE LABEL.HIS SECOND SINGLE WAS RELEASED IN1999 TITLED" CHANGE YOUR WICKED WAY'S ON THE STREET PEOPLE LABEL AND WAS RELEASED IN JAMAICA.SLINKY SHARP HAS PERFORMED WITH SEVERAL WELL KNOWN ARTIST SUCH AS BEANIE MAN ,SEAN PAUL SANCHEZ AND MANY MORE REGGAE ARTIST IN THE INDUSTRY.HIS LATEST RELEASE IS THE CD COMPILATION OF FOURTEEN TRACKS TITLED THE SHARP TRUTH" WITH THE HOT SINGLE TOP CLASS BEAUITY AND YOO HOO" ON THE ANTHONI HUGH LABEL SLINKY SHARP IS READY FOR MAINSTREAM.

GREAT NEWS FOR REGGAE ARTIST IN JAMAICA
President of the Jamaica Federation of Musicians (JFM), Desmond Young said he was happy to hear that Sunsplash was returning as it will provide an added dimension to the local entertainment product and by extension more work for the artistes.

"Sunsplash was the original festival of that type, and it's a pity that it took so long to come forward," said Young who as a vocalist with the 809 Band was a staple on Sunsplash for a number of years. "It", (Sunsplash), Young continued, "will add another dimension to the entertainment scene and as a result of which, provide more jobs for the artistes and we welcome that."
