Album Notes

If you like your blues New Orleans style, stripped down, tough and danceable then The Slippery Chickens are your band. Jerry Scaringe (vocals, harmonica) leads the group with his charismatic vocals and raunchy, in your face harmonica. Michael Olivieri (lead guitar), Carl Lorentzen (upright bass), George Morales (drums) and Dian Lofton (drums on 2 tracks) round out the rest of the line-up.

The Slippery Chickens CD has a very unique retro quality that you don't come across too often. Their songs are strong and fun. They manage to keep a traditional, good time rock and roll sound yet still come across as being very original. It's something you need to hear for yourself and I guarantee you will be hooked all the way through.

Warning - some lyrics were a little explicit for my co-workers so I would not advise playing in stuffy work places.
