Beneath the Waves documents a painful and turbulent period in the lives of Sliver's co-songwriters, Laura Harley and Teddy Kim. The songs on this CD tell the story of two friends' escape from castles that became prisons. Recorded over the course of a year in Chicago and Minneapolis, this CD has an ambient sound with crsip, emo punctuation.
