Gangstarock is proud to announce that Slouch has teamed up with Guy Real to put together a beat CD unlike any other. Movie Quotes Over Beats Vol. 1 was created for hip hop heads, writers, poets, movie lovers, creative listeners, and anyone else who's ready for a little something different in instrumental CDs.

Coming from Maryland, Slouch's beats are tinted with an east coast flavor, but never confined to the east coast blueprint. Instead, Slouch uses his untainted imagination and creativity to break the mold of commercial instrumental CDs. With 28 banging beats, each under two minutes, each completely different from the next, there is never a dull listening moment.

Adding the movie quote dimension to his beats was accomplished with the help of Guy Real from Gangstarock. Guy Real's uncanny ability for selecting memorable well-known and obscure movie quotes is what really sets this album apart from the typical beat CD. With samples from Office Space to Vampire Hunter D, Golgo 13 to Aliens, and Ronin to Sword for Truth, each track brings about a new mood and listening experience.


*All beats were created from 2003-2005 by Slouch using Reason & Pro Tools. All movie quotes were selected by Guy Real and arranged by Slouch in 2006. The album was mixed and mastered in 2006 by Slouch at Penguin Recording in Los Angeles, CA.
