Album Notes

850 to 630 million years ago the Cryogenian period yields the most severe ice age resulting in frozen water covering the entire planet.

In 2650 BC the Great Pyramid of Egypt is completed. It remains the largest feature of any terrain park.

In 980 AD primitive Norsemen bring the first pair of skis to Iceland. Season pass sales commence.

In 1969 men land on the moon. They do not ski. By all accounts this is an epic failure.

In 1974 Greg Beck launches off the Palisades cliffs at Squaw Valley, eclipsing the 1969 lunar event.

In 2008 Jim Sloves releases Snow Bunny Ski Freak, a sonic tribute to alpine free skiing & Squaw Valley.

Hard rock, guitar rave ups, funk, ballads, instrumentals, ethereal new age, anthemic, Snow Bunny Ski Freak is a mind-blowing musical journey into the culture of extreme skiing and the Lake Tahoe venue of Squaw Valley USA. All are original compositions and lyrics except for one song.
