Album Notes

Slow Burning Car – Volume 2: “The Scattering”

“Slow Burning Car is an agency dedicated to the preservation of creative individualism and the alchemy of Rock through compositional application in the audio realm. Through this application their objective is to solidify their position in music as the true diversity in rock”
…And from it’s inception in 2006 all the way through 2008 that’s exactly what Slow Burning car did.
Receiving airplay in over 190 terrestrial and internet stations, reviewed in print and online magazines, licensing music for independent film (“Crash Artist”, Cinebyte Productions 2007), and performing live across the U.S. (and in the U.K.) this Los Angeles based “Car” covered a lot of ground.
With the release of their second disc the band refines their sound further while delving deeper into various sub-genres of rock. Show casing not only the writing ability of founding member Troy Spiropoulos (Agent Prime), it also features his collaborative efforts with band mates McSherry (Agent 5a) and Le (Agent 6), and a track composed entirely by keyboardist Victor Bishop (Agent 4:20).
With “Volume 2 – The Scattering”, Slow Burning Car draws the listener into their world of sonic exploration track by track morphing into a collective piece retaining a bridge into each sub-genre of rock that is unique yet refreshingly coherent as a whole. A bridge that this Car and it’s listeners can cross effortlessly together in harmony.
