Sly Dawg is a 5 piece band from northern Indiana that has captured the very heart and soul of classic rock and roll as the basis for their original music. To quote the great Charles Fach Jr., former executive VP of Mercury Records, "...Brilliant guitar riffs and vocals to die for... They will rock you!"

Their debut CD, Lonely Life, has garnered airplay at over 60 radio stations in the US and Europe with fantastic reviews and brisk CD sales.

Doctor's Orders, Sly Dawg's latest CD, is a collection of 9 masterfully written and recorded songs showing refreshing variety with a very clear self-identity. Their showcase at the 2005 New York International Music and Film Festival featured songs from Doctor's Orders and won them the "Best in Genre" award for Classic Rock. If you like Classic Rock, you'll love this CD!

Sly Dawg has been described as having the guitar styles of Foreigner, Molly Hatchet, or Lynrd Skynrd with the vocal styles of Sammy Hagar, Greg Allman, or Bob Seger. These are all influences on their style - to be sure. But Sly Dawg is also charting some new territory for the "Classic Rock" genre with their music.

If you like high, whiney vocals, then Sly Dawg is NOT for you. Steven Lee Kerry, lead vocalist and primary song-writer, puts his heart, soul, and entire being into his vocals. The great Charles Fach, Jr. former VP of Mercury Record who was responsible for the careers of BTO, Rush, Kool and the Gang, Rod Stewart, and many others, was at a show in Indianapolis.
