Shelley MacLeod grew up in Northern Canada, the daughter of a North American Gypsy mother and a classically trained clarinetist father. Growing up, Shelley absorbed the music she heard at home, Eastern European, Big Bands, Classical and R&B and this history informs her work in a deep way.

Before bringing her musical talent to the world, Shelley performed around the globe as a professional figure skater and won the world title in partner dancing.

Her music – especially her voice – is as unique as it is brilliant. You will never be disappointed listening to her sing. You may enter a world of melancholy but you will never be bored in that world. In a word – “brilliant”.
