Royal Warrior

by SmallChange

$mallChange emptied his musical refrigerator for this tasty pot of gumbo. Nothing more evident than the title track ROYAL WARRIOR featuring Reggae mogul Jah “FIRE” Mason. This solid album is truly a classic for the people.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Nicholas Elliott’s classic story telling, clever word play, and quirky sound, has earned him the name $MALLCHANGE.

Born in Harbor City, California, his childhood aspiration was to become an entertainer. Musically inspired by Michael Jackson, James Brown, Randy Travis, and Madonna, he captured the attention of family and friends with his gift of gab and improvisations.

Moving to, and now hailing from, Seattle Washington. $MALLCHANGE continued to evolve as an entertainer. At the age of 13, he began buying cassette singles that had instrumentals. Therefore, he could make up his own words. He zeroed in on his style a year later, choosing hip-hop as his way to tell his stories. After completing high school, he joined the U.S. Navy, and continued to hone his writing skills, which have become surprisingly profound.
Wanting to better himself, Nicholas ($MALLCHANGE) went to the University of New Mexico earned a degree in Psychology and a commission in the United Stats Navy. He encompasses everything he learned in college, time in the military and personal experiences in his music.
$MALLCHANGE affiliated himself with Ras Mason and the rest of the Cobra Law Network. Together they have produced 2 projects, HOT MIC and ROYAL WARRIOR, the latter being the newest and bigger of the two featuring a track with Jah “FIRE” Mason.

$MALLCHANGE is exactly that, “a small change” from the normality. Owner of ONSWOLL RECORDS, he signed himself but is looking to be a subdivision of a major label similar to “Shady-Aftermath”.

Though each track stands on its own, $MALLCHANGE’s up-coming album, ROYAL WARRIOR, will undoubtedly turn heads ultimately demanding 5 out of 5 mics.

Royal Warrior
This cd is unique taste of different flavors in your ear. Much like a yummy pot of Gumbo. I was impressed when I heard the different raps styles and different vocals that represent diversity and breaks through that line of stereotypical views of rap. I will recommend this Cd to others. Great Job.
