Small World Project is making a vigorous comeback with ''Less is more'', a second opus for this Montreal trio formed by Sébastien Dufour, Patrick Graham and Frédéric Samson. With its small string instruments (ukulele, charango, strumstick, banjo-uke, very cuban…), mini-percussions (tambourine, riqq, bells, mini-drum-kit…) and acoustic bass, the trio delivers a surprising blend of urban jazz, world acoustic, Cuban Montunous, brazilian samba, Italian tarantella, afro beat music, techno-lounge, reggae, minimalist and oriental, all agrees together throughout the ten original titles of the album. As a bonus one will find two tracks as a tribute to Jimmy Hendrix and Bob Marley, two iconic figures of rock and reggae. This album is a pure fiesta for the ears.
