marc smason, trombonist/vocalist, has performed throughout the world with masters such as big joe turner, benny green, sam shepard, julian priester and martha tilton. his playing encompasses many styles including jazz, latin, klezmer and r&b.

smason sounds like the kind of horn player who could walk into any date and acquit himself with distinction. that mastery goes beyond the surface; he seems to have a feel for many styles.
