Sean McDermott has established himself as one of Broadway's leading performers.He has played the roles of Chris in the Broadway production of Miss Saigon with Lea Solonga, Rusty in Trevor Nunn's production of Starlight Express and Broadway's Danny Zuko in Grease, and appeared as the Whizzer in Falsettos opposite Mandy Patinkin.

He has also starred as Hart Jessup in the long running CBS daytime drama, "The Guiding Light" and appeared as the lead in many musicals Off-Broadway and in Regional productions (Show Boat, Jekyll and Hyde, Carousel, Jesus Christ Superstar, Chess, The Pajama Game, Grease, West Side Story, South Pacific).

Sean has appeared at Carnegie Hall with Bernadette Peters at her solo debut, he has also performed for President George Bush at the Kennedy Center and in Texas, and he has appeared on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. His recordings include his debut album of original songs entitled New York Nights and his latest entitled My Broadway.In the works are a third CD of Broadway favorites and a duet CD to be released by the end of the year.
