The more I learn about Sean, the more I know that this is an artist that is serious about his craft. Until stumbling upon his website, I had never heard of Sean nor heard his wonderfully amazing voice, rich with age from a man seemingly so young. Sean commands his voice with such power. One need only listen to "Gethsemane" on the "Piece Of Sky" CD to realize that everything Sean has done to prepare him for his career has paid off. I look forward to seeing Sean on Broadway someday and watching him fly!

I have heard a lot of singers after writing songs after twenty-three years. The greatest was the late great Rouvon and now there is another. Sean McDermott can make a song come alive in three dimensions. When you listen to a "Piece of Sky" your heart and mind soars. Suddenly, anything you dare to dream is possible. You believe it. You cherish it. And more importantly, it compells you to go out and finish what you have started. I am a composer of over five hundred songs and I can tell without one doubt that any songwriter in the world would be honored beyond belief having Scott sing his or her song. He needs to be heard. You need to buy this CD. And every time you feel blue, every time your dreams do not come true, every time you need to simply feel better, you need to turn down the lights, put on this CD, turn up the volume and close your eyes. Great CD! Good choice of music. Sean's voice is powerful and clear and I love all of his music. I have all of his CD's. I only hope he continues to record!

Sean gets better and better - and even when I type that, I think of how much I loved his first CD "New York Nights." His voice is not only the warm, comfy blanket, but it's also the fireplace and the glass of brandy. This guy is a must to add to your "must watch (and listen)" list of soaring artists.
