Album Notes

SMILIN LIAR's new release, "So Mrs. Kennedy, How Was The Drive?" conceptualizes the questions no one wants to ask.  A full course meal of hard hitting, ferociously beautiful songs, and a powerful follow up to their previous release, "Loaded Language."
The new album, "So Mrs. Kennedy, How Was The Drive?" has been a personal feat for the band, highly influenced by a teetering past existence, industry run-around, and the re-invention and dedication of the 5 members who hold true to what they believe in.

PRESS

"You expect to lose some fights. Some of those losses are so memorable, you tell your friends about them, maybe even brag a little. So some time after removing the bandages from from going nine rounds and 30 minutes with Smilin Liar on their new disc, "So Mrs. Kennedy, How Was The Drive?," I was ready to to tell some friends."

This album is great. Starts off with a short intro, then transitions into three songs of heavy hitting tunes. Another short break gives you a chance to catch your breath before it rips into another three songs of good Minnesota music. A final outro brings you back to the life that you used to lead. This CD is well worth the $$ and will have you spinning it over and over for quite some time.
