Album Notes

Bruce Smith is a versatile and accomplished pianist who composes and records his own music for home and commercial settings. Since 2001, Bruce has recorded twenty-five original CD albums with a combined total of over two hundred original songs and arrangements for piano. This CD list includes an impressive array of songs that touch the full range of musical genres including jazz, classical, contemporary, and new age. Bruce has the uncanny talent and the ability to combine those musical genres into original romantic and reflective songs and melodies true music lovers will find no where else but in Bruce’s musical library. Recently, Bruce released a powerful three volume CD set containing sixty of his most favorite songs in an effort to recap the essence of his accomplishments to date entitled “Piano Trilogy.” Bruce has also updated an earlier release called “My Christmas Day” that is truly stylish, refined, yet extraordinary in technique and holiday spirit. In his earlier years, Bruce studied piano in the performing arts on scholarship at Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa, followed by his completion of law school at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Bruce owns his own music publishing company, Rauttnee, and lives in Sioux City, Iowa. He is available for public performances on piano upon request.
