Album Notes

Smith N' Jones is a group of 4 musicians from the Southern California area who have been working together for many years in the LA and Palm Springs Desert areas doing recordings, shows, conventions and music education master classes and clinics. Our Drummer Ron Dunn-Jones plays an new design of drums known as Page drums in which the drum heads are free floating and tensioned by ropes rather than metal clamps attached to the drum shells. these drums were used on Randy Waldmas recording "Wigged Out". Ron was so impressed with Randy's arrangements of classical, movie, and Television themes that he called Randy and asked him if we could get a copy of the charts to play for ourselves. Randy said yes you can use the charts and you can even record them and use them in live concerts. for this we thank Randy Waldman a present this tribute to his music with Jeff Stover on Bass, Scott Smith on Piano, Glen Myerscough on Reeds, and Ron Dunn-Jones on Drums.
