At first listen, one would probably describe the music of singer-songwriter Jessica Smith-Wright in one word: diverse. From the more rock-oriented tracks (backed by the former rhythm section from progressive rock act Scarecrow and Tinmen), one might think of Jessica as an artist in the vein of Jennifer Knapp or Christian music's answer to Michelle Branch. Yet the mature piano-based songs with classically-inspired arrangements might prompt comparisons to Sarah McLachlan.
This wide range of music comes from the heart of a young woman, avoiding stylistic pigeonholes not by chance or by choice, but simply by writing the songs that inspire her emotionally and spiritually.

CD BABY RULES!! Great CD!!
author: Stan
This was a great CD! Not one bad song on the Disc. Only negative comment would be that I would like for a more punched up version of the song OVERCOMER. I enjoyed the version on the disc; but it seemed as if the artist and the band was holding back. I say cut loose!! I bet it would have been even better. Over all I am well I'm Very pleased.
