Album Notes

Recorded in March 2007 at Type Foundry Studios in Portland, Oregon. Tracking by Adam Seltzer. Production and mix by Jeremy French. Mastered at Prairie Sun Recording Studios, Cotati, CA by Tim Gennert.

The album came together quickly and was recorded in three blistering days of kronik abandon. "Tales from the Seven Seas" includes 11 original songs themed around long journeys, bad habits and an unmistakable gift of predicting the future. Rock and roll, reggae riffs and americana blend the roots of the album. It's the first time the band rolled out piano, Wurlitzer and banjo so sit back and enjoy the ride.

The Smokehouse Gamblers are a three-piece band hailing from Petaluma, California.
