Album Notes

In May/June of 2009, Rattletrap Jack Hokum, Uh...Clem, Bullfrog Willy Plunket, Gnarly Snag, and Princess Petunia Lee Petalbottom (not thier real names) performed at the FIMU international music festival in Belfort, France as "The Monkeys Who Smoke Their Hats." (Their translation of Smokin' Fez Monkeys). The back two photos in the cd artwork show them on teh main stage in front of about eight thousand cheering fans, who went curiously wild over track #10. Unbeknownst to the Monkeys, it had been the theme song of France's soccer team the year they won the world cup. The tracks on this album were recorded just prior to, and just after returning from that eventful trip. All recorded live at either the Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland, OH, or the Kent Stage in Kent, OH.
