Asskicking hardcore
author: John Sotiropoulos

SMP is back!
author: The Industrial Factory
SMP’s second full length album further cements their standing as one of the most exciting bands as they fuse precise programming, driving rhythms, inventive samples, and a strong hip-hop influence. This is what Consolidated could have been had they stuck with the formula from "Tool and Die." Instead, SMP, led by Jason Bazinet, pick up the pieces of industrial-hip-hop which were left behind by Consolidated, Meat Beat Manifesto, and Pop Will Eat Itself, and gives it the kick in the ass it needed. Check out tracks like "Militia Love," "Nil Factor," and the album’s best track, "Electric Prod" and see for yourself why SMP is one of the most underrated acts in the underground electro-industrial genre.
