The hill people of the Southeast call him "Tunesmith". Where the Rockies stand now, he is known as "the next Bruce Segermellenclapton". The desert villages tell of a 6'4, 220 lb. happy warrior who sounds like "Pink Floyd on a horse, dipping snuff".

Album Notes

The folks of the cold north country claim "he will arrive".

In a world where most people think Tolstoy is a cookie made by Nestle, this
singer/songwriter/guitarist is a rare triple threat.

In addition to writing, singing, and producing, Snackbar plays all guitars
on "Understanding John Galt."

We believe he is on the artistic level of Sheryl Crow, Dave Matthews, Edwin
McCain and the handful of other top singer/songwriters of today.

If Confucious was a woman and Dirty Harry her husband, Snackbar Jenkins
would surely have been their offspring.

His wisdom comes from miles travelling on the highway of life playing places
and spaces filled with all kinds of humanity.

His music is honest, smart and unbridled. He has lived.

So, travel the rifts and rivers of music with the man who is one part gentle
poet, the other part barroom brawler.

His fifteen minutes is coming. If art and Karma mean anything anymore, then
he'll get twenty.

I found this CD to be utterly intoxicating! It was reminiscent of all the things that made it fun to grow up. Long live Flamingo Joe’s and the Dolly Yani’s!

Feeling a body's Qi upon entering a room was refreshing. It is such a rarity in our out of balance western world. Greg's voice can bring those of us who know a Tolstoy is not a cookie made by Nestle to an almost Alpha state if we are apt enough to shut up and listen. His CD is beautiful. Oh, and Greg, continue to flow effortlessly through life's continuing changes. It makes you beautiful.

Why haven't I heard of this guy before? This CD is mature Rock and Roll with well-crafted songs, beautiful melodies and really interesting lyrics. This is music for thinking people. I want another Snackbar album. Does anyone know anything more about him?

It's so cool to see a big tough guy who doesn't have tattos, and is so smart. I think he's the best singer/songwriter in Texas. Cute ass too.
