Album Notes

Snail Quail makes Quirky Folk Punk music that makes you want to laugh and cry and listen to after getting into a domestic dispute or hanging out at a game board party with your bored friends.

If you like Staind, Beyonce, Jordin Sparks or glitzy plastic music then you'll absolutely hate Snail Quail. Go listen to the radio instead.

If you like Philip K. Dick, free markets, Johnny Cash or peanut butter and jelly sandwiches then you've met your match, yaaaayyy!!!!

The Moving On EP exceeds the expectations of a first time, self-released EP, by performance and production. Mr. Jimmy has managed to not create a comfortable groove for himself, and has given each song it's own unique style and feel. Best of all, it doesn't sound like it was recorded with one mic in a garage. So, if you enjoy mixtures of Folk, Punk, and Indie, with (at times) a very 90's rock feel, that's not afraid to have some fun once and awhile, you should be able to enjoy this striving young artist's first release.
