ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This is an energetic, talented, creative group of musicians with the wonderful ability to delight a wide spectrum of audiences, young and old. They perform mostly original material with an occasional well-chosen cover thrown in. Amazingly gifted with outstanding vocal and instrumental skills, band members sing very well and play with verve and top notch technical ability. Multi-instrumentalist and band leader, Snap Jackson, switches with ease from 5-string banjo to ukulele to dulcimer to harmonica, while fiddler Shane Kalbach doubles on mandolin. Brian Clark, bassist for the group, plays with particularly electrifying and stunning ability. As a unit, Snap and his crew have been playing energetically up and down the west coast, honing their repertoire and winning ardent fans and supporters wherever they appear. Their shows meld splashes of bluegrass, soul, old-time and other elements of Americana roots music; which produces fresh, exciting, charismatic performances for very appreciative audiences. Don't miss your next opportunity to attend one of their upcoming appearances to hear their music first-hand.

Carl Pagter,
Chairman - Emeritus, California Bluegrass Association
