Album Notes

Hi,
My name is Steve. Thank you for your interest in my music and CD-"Sunken Treasure". I have recently departed from the Land of Band and washed up on Solo Island where I was able to create the Sunken Treasure album.
Most of the songs that make up S.T. were originally intended as the soundtrack for a low budget independant film by a couple of U of A students.
As fate would have it, financial issues and a host of other obstacles put the project on hold indefinately. I added a couple more songs and decided to release it as a CD. Thanks to KXCI in Tucson("real people, real radio")S.T. has received moderate rotation, and was recently featured during an ambient/space/electronic segment called BRAINWAVES.
While this is my first effort in the melting pot-genre
of ambient/new age/space/trance/electronic/(your description here), I've always enjoyed the flowing cerebriality of artists and bands such as Michael Hedges,Shadowfax,David Sylvian,Oregon,Steve Roach, and Pat Metheny. Thanks to technology, this simple drummer is able to write and create pieces for guitar, strings, icebergs, open roads, and orbs of vastness... I would love to work on more film projects, but in the meantime I am toiling day and night on a new album due out around January 2004. Thanks again for your interest and feel free to e-mail me with ??'s, or comments. bye.
