Soapbox Army is a modern rock band intent on doing something unique with its sound while still holding on to the melodic pop sensibilities that make songs work. With the addition of strings, the band manages to be at once moody and atmospheric and at other times straight-up rock intense. The unique vocals, lyrical imagery and melodies help to create a fresh voice in indie rock.
